Jeannine McCall Waldrep

On
January 22, 2020, Annie Jeannine McCall Waldrep, loving wife and mother
of three sons passed away at the age of 70. Jeannine was born on August
22, 1949 in Valdosta, Georgia to Amos and Laura McCall. She was
baptized at Central Avenue Church of Christ when she was a child and
would attend Central whenever she was in Valdosta and has attended North
Atlanta Church of Christ and First Baptist Church of Roswell while
living in Roswell. She received her Psychology degree and teaching
certificate from Valdosta State College. Jeannine taught school in
Dekalb and Fulton Counties retiring in 2016. Her favorite grade to teach
was 2nd grade.
On November 22, 1980 she married Thomas Warren Waldrep. They raised three sons, Tyler, Travis, and Patrick. Jeannine loved playing with her grandchildren, visiting with her family and friends, and traveling. She was known for her infectious smile, and her kind and compassionate spirit.
Jeannine is survived by her father, Amos, and her mother, Annie Laura McCall of Valdosta, GA. She is survived by her husband Thomas, her three sons and a daughter in law, Tyler Hamilton Waldrep of Roswell, Travis Alexander & Diana Goodwin Waldrep of Valdosta, and Thomas Patrick Waldrep of Roswell, and 4 grandchildren, Lawson, Reese, Collier, and Merritt Waldrep all of Valdosta. She is also survived by her siblings, Jerry and Stephanie McCall of Roswell, Lee and Susan McCall Frankel of Valdosta, Amos, Jr. and Sheila McCall (Valdosta, GA); along with 6 nephews and 1 niece.
A memorial service will be held on January 25, 2020 at Central Ave Church of Christ on E. Central Ave Valdosta, GA, at 3 o’clock. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, please send your donations to The Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation.
